Xona Microfluidics is pleased to be attending the 32nd Annual NECTAR 2022 conference in Athens, Greece from October 24th to the 26th, 2022. NECTAR stands for the European “Network for CNS Transplantation and Restoration.” NECTAR plans to have “3 plenary lectures on hot topics as well as sessions on the most recent developments in cell transplantation clinical trials for neurodegenerative diseases, immune system and brain cross-talk, advances in CNS disease modeling, mechanisms of neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation and glial cells, and preclinical cell therapies for brain disorders.”
This will be Xona’s first time attending NECTAR. As mentioned, Dr. Anne Taylor will discuss the use of Xona devices in neurodegenerative disease research. Dr. Taylor will discuss the ways in which XonaChips®, are particularly well-suited for CNS disease modeling, and studying the mechanisms of neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation and glial cells, and preclinical cell therapies for brain disorders.
Xona Microfluidics is a US-based company that sells compartmentalized microfluidic chambers for culturing neurons and creating co-culture and innervation models in vitro. Xona Microfluidics provides high quality microfluidic devices for culturing neurons to customers worldwide. Xona’s microfluidic chambers, including XonaChips®, are sold to customers throughout Europe, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Belgium. Xona Microfluidics is registered as a supplier at many institutions world-wide, making it easy to order from us directly.
In addition to providing neuron culture devices, Xona also provides contract research services using our microfluidic platforms to develop scalable neuron-based assays. Our patented compartmentalized chip technology directs the growth of axons from a somatodendritic compartment to an isolated axonal compartment allowing distinct microenvironments within each compartment to be established.
Xona sells compartmentalized microfluidic chambers in two formats: Preassembled XonaChips® and original Silicone (PDMS) Devices. Over 1,000 publications cite our compartmentalized microfluidic devices and chips. Many of these publications can be found on our publications page.
We ship using either FedEx International or DHL, with the customer responsible for duties and taxes. We are happy to prepay and add shipping costs or we can use your shipping account number to ship your order.
